With the desire to 'have many people taste local ingredients,' Sushi Sonoda is run by a husband and wife, offering a place where you can enjoy authentic sushi without any pretense. Please enjoy a relaxing time with a drink in hand, featuring not only 'Nigiri' using seasonal local fish but also 'Sashimi' and homemade a la carte dishes prepared by the wife. The cozy, homey interior has only 7 counter seats. Please enjoy the heartfelt hospitality served right before your eyes.
Sushi Sonoda is a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic sushi in a relaxed atmosphere, with the idea of "providing local ingredients to many people." Fresh local fish from each season is procured and prepared with care and attention, one by one. As they only prepare enough for specific customers, the sushi is always served fresh! The restaurant is also small, with only seven counter seats. With such a small number of seats, they are able to provide each and every customer with care... Come and experience the owner's spirit along with the delicious sushi.
When you think of a sushi restaurant, you think of "nigiri" (sushi rolls with nigiri sushi). And the "sashimi" (sliced raw fish) made with fresh local fish is also delicious - that's a given. Sushi Sonoda is run by a husband and wife duo and offers a full selection of a la carte dishes as well as "nigiri" and "sashimi". The wife is in charge of preparing the a la carte dishes. They offer a wide variety of meat dishes, including "salt-grilled seasonal fish", "simmered dishes", and "fried minced fish paste". Please enjoy them as a drink before tucking into their carefully selected sushi! We make our dishes with sincerity and love.
Just as ingredients have their "seasons," sake also has its "seasons." We offer a carefully selected glass of sake that matches the season and the ingredients we have available. The sake we serve changes daily, so you can enjoy different flavors whenever you come, including "Denshu Special Junmai" from Aomori Prefecture, "Yamori Junmai Nakadori Unadjusted Nama" from Tokyo, and "Kaze no Mori Ikakitori Junmai Daigin" from Nara Prefecture. Before you eat your sushi, enjoy a sip of delicious sake to relax and unwind.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
