📍 Product Description

  • Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Sandakan, Sabah, is the perfect place for nature lovers. This centre allows you to experience orangutans up close as they go through the rehabilitation process. The main aim here is to prepare these orangutans to live freely in the wild.
  •  As you walk through the centre, you’ll be surrounded by the sounds and sights of the Bornean rainforest. The highlight of your visit will be watching the orangutans swing down from the trees to the feeding platforms. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.


🦧 What to Expect

  • Feeding Sessions: 

Orangutans usually appear at the feeding platforms at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. You’ll have the chance to watch them eat, play, and interact.

  • Nature Trails: 

Enjoy a leisurely walk on the boardwalks that lead deep into the rainforest, where you can observe various plants and animals.

  • Nursery Viewing: 

See the younger orangutans being cared for in the nursery before they are ready for release.
