Product Info

Start early in the morning from your hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City and take a short bus ride to the nearby town of My Tho. Well-known throughout Vietnam, My Tho sits on the mighty Mekong River and is home to some of Vietnam's most vibrant floating markets.

Your tour will start off with a stroll around some of the floating markets before heading to Con Thoi Son—also known as Unicorn Island. Here you'll experience Vietnamese traditional music performance of Đàn Ca Tài Tử, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage, from some local residents before having a taste of some delicious local fruits.

Next up is a sampan boat trip through a number of small creeks and rivers where you can observe how local Vietnamese villagers live and farm. You'll learn how to make coconut candies—a local delicacy—before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City in the early afternoon.
