- Customers will travel in a 12-seater, air-conditioned van, switching to a roofed 4×4 truck for the last 10 minutes to reach the sanctuary.
— Itinerary —
- 8.00 - 8.30 : Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai
- 8.30 - 10.00 : Drive through a beautiful rural area where you can catch sight of flowing mountain rivers, rice fields, corn fields, and banana plantations.
- 10.00 : Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will be greeted and welcomed.
- Change into traditional Karen clothing and receive a briefing about the sanctuary and the Elephants by our knowledgeable tour guides
- Participate in preparing food and snacks for the elephants.
- Enjoy feeding the elephants while maintaining a safe distance, as you learn about their history and understand their behavior. - 12.30 : Enjoy a delicious local meal and say goodbye to the Elephants
- 13.00 : Watch the elephants' daily routine, which might involve observing them as they look for food in the jungle, bathe with the mahouts, or relax in the mud as they bond within the herd (subject to the natural behavior and preferences of the elephants on the day of the visit)
- Drink freshly harvested herbal tea from the village while observing the elephants in their natural habitat
- Take a refreshing break at the Water Fall
- Craft your own Thai cultural handmade souvenir to take back home - 14.00 : Leave Joy Elephant Sanctuary and drive approximately 20 minutes to bamboo rafting release point where each raft comes with a river guide who will take charge and guide you down the river.
- 15.30 : Change clothes and ride back to Chiang Mai
- 16.30 : Arrive at your accommodation

Bamboo Rafting is suitable for all ages. However, young children and infants require close parental supervision for safety.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
