The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama is a new view spot in Niigata that offers a spectacular view of the Uonuma Plain and the Echigo Sanzan mountains.

After a seven-minute aerial ride aboard a state-of-the-art gondola and landing halfway up the ski resort, you'll arrive at The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama, which starts at one of the area's largest observation terraces and cafes.

With this plan, you can apply for an igloo-shaped dome tent that combines comfort with a sense of oneness with nature.

The dome tent will be equipped with tables and chairs, so you can enjoy the view while eating takeout food you picked up from the cafe in a private space with your family and friends.


-Experience process-

・Please come to the Central Gate Resort Center of Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort on the day.

(About 30 to 60 minutes before the experience time)

・When you arrive, please purchase or exchange your ticket for the day.

・Take the gondola to The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama. When you get off the gondola, you will find the reception desk on the first floor of the cafe right in front of you, where you will find the entrance to the dome tent. Please show the electronic ticket screen to the reception staff.

・Takeout menu items that can be enjoyed in the dome tent are sold on the second floor of the cafe. If you order before entering, you can enjoy the dome tent for the full time.

・You can enjoy the observation terrace and cafe, strolling around the grounds, etc. even outside of your reservation time. (Business hours 10:30-17:30, night business hours 11:30-21:00)

[By car] From Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway, take Route 17 towards Echigo Yuzawa for about 5 minutes. Turn right at the intersection with the ski resort entrance sign, and walk about 300m to the Ishiuchi Maruyama Resort Center parking lot. Parking: Free all day during the summer operating period (in front of the resort center) [By train] Take a taxi or bus from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station for about 10 minutes [Shuttle bus] Depending on the season, shuttle buses are scheduled to operate from nearby facilities.
