Set in 8 hectares of stunning bushland and nestled on the edge of the magnificent One Mile Beach and Worimi Conservation Lands sand dunes, Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary offers the best of both worlds. We’re close enough to experience the abundance of sights and activities Port Stephens has to offer, yet secluded enough to enjoy the native bird and animal life which have made their homes in the surrounding wetlands.
The Deluxe 4 Star Glamping tents offer you the perfect place to rejuvenate while enjoying a unique nocturnal experience. Wake up with the koalas in their spectacular natural bushland setting and enjoy everything that our Koala Sanctuary has to offer.
If glamping is not for you, there is a range of 4 star accommodation — from Deluxe Studio Rooms to our One Bedroom Deluxe Suites. These offer a more traditional hotel stay, so you can experience the koalas’ natural setting while taking in the stunning views of our beautiful bushland environments.
Accommodation guests enjoy unlimited access to the koala sanctuary and use of the resort style swimming pool surrounded by cool inviting lawn that also incorporates a heated outdoor spa cascading into a small surrounding pool. Located throughout the Sanctuary are several purpose built BBQ stations that offer guests a true aussie BBQ experience where you can cook up a storm.

One Bedroom Deluxe — One Bedroom Suite - Plus accommodation for up to 4 persons. Suite facilities include king bed (split capable) in main bedroom and single bed with trundle bed in the living area. - Reservations are not permitted by persons under the age of 18 years and all minors to be accompanied by an adult
- The reservations are not transferable to another person
- Pre-check-in time or later check-out is on a request basis and should be requested at the time of reservation. A full day charge may be applicable
- No animals are allowed into the sanctuary except for service animals
- Open Fires are not permitted within the Park. Only gas or electric are permitted. Portable Butane (lunchbox style) cookers are not permitted within the Park
Reminders
It will be recommend to bring binoculars to help with koala spotting
Do not disturb koalas when taking photographs, flash photography is not allowed
Smoking is prohibited in the sanctuary, it is only allowed in the car park area
Travellers are responsible to secure their belongings at all times. No responsibility is taken by Council or the Management for personal injury, damage to or loss of property or whilst undertaking in programmed park activities
Please be reminded that confirmation of your reservation means you are agreeing to abide by the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary rules. Any breach of rules, booking terms or conditions will result in removal from the property and forfeit of fees

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 18 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–17 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
