【About the Garinko Icebreaker】

● If the drift ice is far away, the cruise may be extended by up to 90 minutes. In such cases, arrival at the hotel may be delayed.

● This is a sunset cruise; you will see daytime scenery at departure, sunset during the cruise, and night views upon return.

【About Drift Ice】

● As drift ice is a natural phenomenon, it may not be visible depending on weather conditions (tides, wind direction, etc.).

● The tour will proceed regardless of whether the drift ice has reached the shore. If the ice has not reached the shore, standard cancellation fees will still apply for any cancellations or changes.

● We will not contact you regarding drift ice conditions before departure. Please refer to the Sea Ice Forecast issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency website.

● If drift ice cannot be seen, the tour guide accompanying you will provide information on alternative plans on the day.

● The operation of the Garinko Icebreaker is not dependent on the presence of drift ice. If there is no drift ice on the route, it will operate as a sightseeing cruise, and no refunds will be provided. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather or high waves, we will guide you to an alternative sightseeing spot (scheduled to be the Okhotsk Tower) and refund the difference in the cruise fee after deducting the admission fee at a later date.
