2. Receive your vehicle
Please bring the following documents with you when picking up your vehicle:
- Passport, driver's license used in your home country, or an original or Japanese translation of an international driver's license issued within the last year (Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan)
3. Pick up your car
Before you depart, we will provide a brief vehicle briefing, visually inspect the vehicle for any damage, and make a log of any damage. The vehicle will be fully fuelled and will not require any additional refuelling upon departure.
4. Vehicle return, overtime settlement, etc.
Please return the car to the office within the agreed time. If you think you may be returning outside of the agreed time, please contact us as soon as possible. When returning the car, our staff will record the mileage and inspect the car body and interior. Please note that if you do not fill up the gas tank when returning the car, we will charge you 10,000 yen.
*If you return the vehicle after the designated time, an overtime fee will be charged. If you return the vehicle without filling up the tank, the actual mileage will be converted into cash and paid separately.

・We will process your rental car. Please note that you will need a valid driver's license in Japan to receive the car. At the reserved pick-up location, you will check the car with our staff and sign the necessary documents. There will also be a checklist regarding the insurance compensation system and the liability exemption system. Please read through and understand it before signing.
・If an accident occurs, be sure to contact the nearest police station and our office. Please ask for the name of the police officer in charge.
・Insurance does not apply to accidents caused by drunk driving, speeding, exceeding the contracted hours, driving by unauthorized persons, or self-inflicted accidents.
・The insurance and compensation for our rental cars is unlimited for bodily injury and property damage, and 30 million yen per passenger for personal injury compensation. However, "self-inflicted accidents" and "accidents where the other party cannot be identified (hit-and-run, etc.)" are not covered by the liability exemption system.
・If you are bringing an infant under the age of 6, they must use a child seat. If you are bringing an infant under the age of 6, please be sure to inform us of the infant's age in the "Notes" field when making your reservation. The cost of a child seat and junior seat is 550 yen/day each. Please pay the fee on-site.
