In addition, the hotel is partnering for the first time with the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to host a family-friendly Easter eco workshop, offering the perfect opportunity for families to gather, celebrate and create memorable moments together! GREEN will present an enhanced “Global Surf & Turf” four-course dinner.
During the Easter holiday period, children aged 3–11 who dine at The Market’s brunch buffet or GREEN’s lunch can enjoy a complimentary “Easter Kid’s Eco-creative Workshop” at The Market’s outdoor area, accompanied by an adult, co-organized by Hotel ICON and Public Design Lab of the School of Design at PolyU for the first time.
Centred on the theme of sustainability, the workshop will be led by faculty members and students from the School of Design. Participants will be guided to create a series of decorative pieces using eco-friendly and recycled materials such as food waste, coffee grounds, wine corks and eggshells, offering a fun and creative way for families to learn about sustainable living. Places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
