Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort is located in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, and boasts an outstanding view overlooking the Uonuma Basin and an expansive slope covering a total area of 236 hectares. It is a long-established ski resort with over 70 years of history, representing Niigata. The site spreads out in a fan shape from the summit to three bases, and has over 20 diverse courses where you can fully enjoy the thrill of snowy mountains, and the night skiing, the largest in the area, is open every day during the high season.

It takes about 80 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa Station, and about 10 minutes by shuttle bus from the station. [Access by Shinkansen] The shortest route is about 80 minutes from JR Tokyo Station to JR Echigo Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen. From the station, take the shuttle bus or taxi for about 10 minutes. [Access by car] Get off at Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway and head towards National Route 17. Turn left on National Route 17, go about 500m and turn right at the third traffic light. (There is a sign for the Ishiuchi Maruyama entrance.)
