Café Kool sits on the mezzanine of Kowloon Shangri-La at 64 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East. Its newly upgraded Luxury Gourmet Buffet, available from October 1, brings premium ingredients and chef's selections: over 200 dishes in rotation, from top-grade seafood, Japanese-style dishes and classic Western cuisine to fine desserts, with fresh seasonal seafood, quality meats and signature dishes to enjoy with family and friends. Dishes rotate at the lunch and dinner buffets on designated days.

New Luxury Signature Items: add HKD 99 per guest for a selection of chef-selected premium dishes and exclusive premium items (menu).

Lunch or dinner at Café Kool: which should I book?

• Lunch Buffet (12:00–2:30 PM): superior broth dumplings, Hokkaido scallop gratin with mentaiko, flambé crab roe seafood fried rice, and flame-caramelized Basque cheesecake; on weekdays, braised e-fu noodles with crab roe, golden autumn crab roe seafood soup, foie gras chawanmushi, and Japanese chestnut tart; on weekends, chilled lobster (one per guest), premium crab roe and fish maw soup, crab roe xiao long bao, crab salad on brioche toast, smoked garlic butter rib eye steak, and Japanese musk melon parfait.

• Dinner Buffet (6:00–9:30 PM): chilled lobster, braised sea cucumber with crab roe, Inaniwa udon with hairy crab roe and scallion oil, black cod with crab roe and scallion, grilled lamb chop with pesto yogurt, smoked garlic butter rib eye steak, Miyazaki wagyu teppanyaki, Hokkaido scallop gratin with crab meat and cheese, seared foie gras with caramelized onion sauce, molten dark chocolate fondant with raspberry, and Japanese musk melon parfait; on weekdays, toro and salmon roe rice bowl and truffle roast pigeon; on weekends, a tuna carving show and steamed egg white with crab claw and crab roe.

Who gets a discount at Café Kool?

• Seniors aged 60 and over: 35% off the regular buffet price when dining with at least one other guest, plus 10% service charge calculated on the regular price; show a senior card or ID card.

• Children (Shangri-La Circle members only): the first two children aged 0 to 3 dine free with at least one adult guest, and the third child onwards pays half price; children aged 4 to 11 get 50% off the regular buffet price. See the Terms & Conditions below for the full member terms.

What happens in bad weather?

• Red/Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above: the restaurant stays open as usual, and you can still dine as planned.

• To reschedule because of bad weather, contact the restaurant directly on the day; rescheduling depends on seat availability.

• Purchase at least 12 hours before the redemption date to enjoy the offer.

• Guests must present the redemption letter to enjoy the offer.
