Before you book

Accessibility & pets
- Wheelchairs & strollers: can be taken on the ropeway as they are.
- Pets: before your visit, be sure to check About Pets for how to ride the ropeway with pets and the rules in the park.
- Pet fee: the same for web advance tickets, regular counter prices and specific dates.
Weather & closures
- Closed before opening time: if Biwako Valley stops operations before opening time due to bad weather or other reasons on its side, no cancellation fee is charged. Travel expenses to the site and similar costs cannot be compensated.
- Suspended during opening hours: operations may be suspended for your safety due to strong winds or lightning. Tickets that have already been used cannot be refunded.
- Cancellation notice: if operations are cancelled, a cancellation email will be sent. Please check the Biwako Valley official website for the reason.
Getting there
- Traffic: roads around the area are very congested at times such as weekends and consecutive holidays. No refund is given if you cannot arrive by your time of use, so please allow plenty of time.
Ticket rules
- Ticket use: web advance tickets cannot be resold, exchanged for cash or used together with other service vouchers.
- No resale: resale is prohibited, and we cannot handle any trouble arising from resale.
- Disability discount: do not buy a web ticket. Show your disability certificate at the ropeway ticket counter and buy your ticket on site.

- Deadline: until 18:00 the day before your date of use.

- Price difference: the price difference from a date change will be refunded.

- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
