What You Can Expect
1 Day
- Departure from HCM at 9:00 pm on departure date. Travel by sleeper bus for 8 hours to Ninh Son (Ninh Thuan Province).
- 05:00Arrive in Ninh Son Town (35km away from Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) to rest, have breakfast and re-check luggage.
- 06:00Departing for Khanh Son District (Khanh Hoa Province), travel about 45km on a 16-seater shuttle bus to the starting place of Ta Giang Trekking journey.
- 07:30Get to the starting point, meet experienced local porter. Here, the tour guide introduces the schedule and other safety instructions and regulations. The journey starts now.
- Go through the wide rocky ground deep in the forest. The mountains and forests are surrounded by a white stone road and a fanciful jade green stream.
- 12:00Have lunch by the cool stream, watch the fish swim under the turquoise water and take a short rest to gain energyfor the next journey.
- 13:00Continue the journey to conquer the wild land.
- 15:00Arrive at the campsite, light up the fire and prepare for a cozy BBQ night.
- 22:00Go to sleep early for the next day's journey.
2 Day
- 05:30The tour guide will wake everyone up, welcoming the sunrise on the windy hilltop, sip hot coffee and have breakfast.
- 07:00Start the journey back to the village, cross the barren hills with yellow and green grass, added a little bit of sunshine to create a peaceful and wild scene.
- 12:00Stop for lunch by the stream, cook traditional "Cơm lam" (traditional bamboo-tube sticky rice).
- 15:00Return to the village, enjoy the peaceful countryside, do your personal hygiene.
- 16:00Say goodbye to the local fellows. You will be picked up by shuttle bus and be transferred back to Ninh Thuan Town. Have dinner there and you might buy some souvenirs home.
- 20:00Get on the bus returning to Saigon, you will arrive in Saigon around 4:00 the next morning.
