The Tokyo Christmas Market is a German-style Christmas market held in Tokyo each winter, and in 2026 it runs at two venues at once: a new bayside site at Shin-Toyosu, hosting the market for the first time and a 2-minute walk from Shin-Toyosu Station on the Yurikamome Line, and the Shiba Park venue near Tokyo Tower (separate ticket). At Shin-Toyosu, from November 20 to December 25, wooden stall huts (hütte) line the venue around a lit-up Christmas pyramid, the market's symbol, with 22 food and drink stalls, 12 goods stalls, and 2 workshops planned. The market is outdoors and opens rain or shine; only stormy weather closes it.

The goods stalls carry snow globes, ornaments, and other European Christmas goods, and the stage hosts music and performances. The symbol at the center of the venue is one of the world's largest Christmas pyramids. To commemorate our 12th anniversary, we have created a new 'Christmas Pyramid' themed around the 'Grimm's Fairy Tales' and other European folk tales.
The roofs of each store booth, known as "hutte," are decorated with Christmas motifs such as snowmen, Santa Claus, and reindeer. At night, they are lit up and sparkle magically.
This year, entertainment bands and gospel groups will once again perform wonderful songs and performances on the stage at the Tokyo Christmas Market. (The photo shows the market at the 2019 event.)
