- Attraction Introduction -

  • Qingshui Cliff
Located between Heping and Chongde, Qingshui Cliff is a major wonder on Taiwan's east coast and one of the Eight Wonders of Taiwan. Standing over 1,000 meters tall, the cliff drops into the Pacific Ocean at a nearly 90-degree angle. The highway stretches for over 20 kilometers, winding and twisting with sheer cliffs on one side and the vast ocean on the other. The terrain is steep and the scenery is magnificent, leaving visitors in awe.

  • Xincheng Old Street
Xincheng Township is the smallest township in Hualien, consisting of eight villages including Xincheng, Kangle, and Beipu. After becoming a filming location for the famous movie 'Eternal Summer', it revitalized local tourism. Additionally, the nearby 'Xincheng Catholic Church' has become a viral photo spot online due to its unique ship-shaped architecture coexisting with a Japanese shrine.

  • Mambo Ocean Ecology Leisure Park
The Mambo Ocean Ecology Leisure Park, or 'Mambo Park' for short, is located at Qixingtan in Xincheng Township, Hualien County. Near Hualien Airport, it is currently an important military control zone. Due to its beautiful scenery and vast views, the Hualien County Government has worked to develop it into a leisure park that promotes local industrial culture without compromising national defense security.

  • Qixingtan Beach
Located on the northeast coast of Xincheng Township, Qixingtan is famous for its crescent-shaped bay. The water is clear and blue, and you can see the pebbles in the waves. Originally a quiet fishing village, its unique natural environment, combined with simple viewing trails, seaside pavilions, moon-viewing towers, and stargazing plazas, allows visitors to fully enjoy the blue sea and sky. At night, the beach is free from light pollution, making it the best place for stargazing, moon-viewing, or simply listening to the song of the pebbles and waves.
