- General recreation and hiking activities that do not require entry permits
For travel by car or public transport, including sightseeing, trail hiking, photography, and other recreational activities, the following areas do not require mountain or park entry permits.
Northwest Area Tataka Recreation Area: New Central Cross-Island Highway, attractions near Tataka Recreation Area, Tataka Visitor Center, Paiyun Mountaineering Service Center.
Northwest Area Dongpu Trailhead: Dongpu Trailhead to Yunlong Waterfall (3.9K mark).
Southern Area: Southern Cross-Island Highway, Meishan Entrance, Meishan Visitor Center, Bunun Cultural Exhibition Center, Tianchi Recreation Area, Zhongzhiguan Trail.
Eastern Area: Nan'an Tribe to Walami Trailhead (Provincial Highway 30), Nan'an Visitor Center, Walami Trail (Shanfeng Trailhead) to Jiaxin section. - Mountaineering activities requiring mountain entry permits and park entry permits for ecological protection areas
Mountaineering activities that require mountaineering equipment and entry into the Yushan National Park Ecological Protection Area for intermediate to advanced trails, such as the Yushan Peaks, South Section II, Batongguan Traversing Trail, Mabolasi Traverse, Southern Cross-Island Highway Three Mountains and Guanshan, and Sinkang Traverse routes, require an entry permit for the ecological protection area. Reminders
A minimum of 6 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 3 day(s) before the departure date
Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
Since the downhill time is different for each person, if you are used to walking slowly, please start early and be sure to arrive before the return driving time.
The detour to platform 18 will increase the fare by 2,000 yuan for a single trip, please pay the driver on the spot.
The pick-up and drop-off time and location of the chartered car package can be adjusted, and the departure (or return) of the non-departure city of the product will require an additional fee. (Please ask customer service for details on whether the itinerary will increase the price).
If the itinerary needs to be delivered to the mountaineering entrance the next morning, an additional 2,000 yuan will be charged, please pay cash to the driver on the spot (please ask customer service for details of the itinerary).
The driver on the way/return will stop at the rest stop along the way to provide everyone with toilet and simple shopping (an extra charge of $300/1H will be charged for those who stop for more than one hour or hold a celebration banquet).
Adding a second boarding and alighting location will cost an additional $300 per trip within 3 kilometers of the same county or city’s Yanshun Road route, and 50 yuan per kilometer for more than 3 kilometers, and so on. (Cross-county and city counting begins after leaving the interchange).
Part of the mountaineering itinerary needs to be transferred to a local high-chassis shuttle bus, which needs to be contacted and booked by yourself, which is not included in this fee.
The activity time on the day of the itinerary may change due to force majeure factors such as weather or traffic, and no refunds will be made. Please forgive me.
If the Central Meteorological Administration issues a typhoon, heavy rain report, or the closure of the national park, due to the epidemic situation, the government has upgraded to three or more reasons, and you can apply for a full refund or postponement (those who choose to postpone cannot request a refund), if you need to apply for a full refund 10% handling fee will be charged.
In case of snowy weather, the car must be equipped with snow chains for self-absorption, and the cost is mainly based on the charges of the local snow chain operator.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 7 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 3 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
