Experiencing the Blue Highway Cruise in Dadaocheng was a delightful surprise. Cruising gently along the Tamsui River, we enjoyed the old streets and riverside scenery from different angles in a relaxed and leisurely atmosphere. The guided tour also provided a deeper understanding of the local history and culture. Interestingly, after searching around, I discovered that this tour is currently only available through KKday, making it a rather exclusive experience and definitely worth trying.
The driver arrived early, did not smoke, and obeyed traffic rules. The car was a Volkswagen 9-seater, and a bit old. We added a stop at the last minute the day before, and customer service responded promptly. They said there would be an extra 500 yuan modification fee; thank you for the arrangement.
There were so many people, including many Korean tourists. Parking took forever because it was always full. Fort San Domingo was beautiful; it was my first time visiting. The Tamsui River was also spectacular. The grilled squid, ice cream, iron eggs, coriander pig's blood cake, 'A-gei' (a type of fried dough), and fish ball soup in the old street were all delicious!
I was very fortunate to be assigned two excellent drivers. In addition to driving safely, they were also very considerate of the passengers. The point-to-point pick-up and drop-off was really convenient. Thank you so much!
