Our driver, Mr. Dai Qinghe, was very polite, talkative, and patient. Thank you for recommending Anping Tree House and Deji Foreign Firm. The interactive guided tours are fantastic now! Children can role-play as foreign firm owners, compradors, and coolies. There are also exquisite and adorable souvenirs. There are many foreign tourists, making it even better to explore than 15 years ago! We departed from the high-speed rail at 10 am, and by the time we finished exploring Anping it was already 2 pm. Seeing the huge crowds at the Sicao Tunnel, Mr. Dai decisively suggested we give up and take us on the 61 Expressway. We arrived at Beimen in just over 20 minutes. The scenery along the way was expansive and breathtaking. We managed to squeeze in time to visit Qianlaiye General Store, Beimen Crystal Church, Jingzaijiao Tile Salt Fields, and finally climbed Qigu Salt Mountain to watch the sunset. Overall, the trip was fulfilling and enriching. Thank you very much, Mr. Dai!

The trip was excellent value for money; the grilled oysters were all-you-can-eat, there was absolutely no time pressure, and the guided boat tour was very satisfying.

The timing was perfect for my request to see the sunset at the salt fields, and we were able to witness a magnificent sunset. It would be difficult to explore the suburbs on my own, so I'm glad I had this opportunity. The driver, Yang, spoke very clear English, so there were no problems even without Japanese. The cruise was a little disappointing because, due to the effects of a typhoon in 2025, we were unable to land on the sandbar and only sailed through the inland sea. If your main purpose is to visit the sandbar, I recommend checking beforehand.
