First of all, a huge thank you to our professional and humorous tour guides, Michael and Sunny. Their attentive guidance made this trip a complete success. Today's itinerary began at Aegibong, the border between South and North Korea, followed by visits to the Peace Ecological Suspension Bridge, the Mongbaedan Altar, and the UN Clock, a symbol of peace. Through binoculars, we even caught glimpses of North Korea's mysterious land and its farmers. We took a short break at Starbucks, relaxing with coffee. Our guides not only professionally explained Korean culture, history, and geography, but also thoughtfully helped with taking photos, finding seats, and even looking after our bags, making us feel very comfortable. Because it was a small group of only six, the itinerary went very smoothly, with no lateness or waiting issues. The guides explained things in a mix of Chinese and English (our group included three Americans and three Taiwanese), occasionally interspersing fun Korean lessons and humorous short songs, creating a very harmonious atmosphere. They chatted with everyone about all sorts of things, making us feel completely at ease; they truly have youthful hearts. As they said, participating in this trip felt like being with family and friends, not just as tourists. Lunch was at a nearly 60-year-old authentic Korean restaurant, where I enjoyed a delicious tofu stew set meal and even learned how to make rice porridge. To our delight, our group unexpectedly received two extra fish, which brought laughter to everyone. 😆 Finally, we visited Jinwansa Temple and the nearby Hanok Village, exploring many historic temples and beautifully replicated Hanok buildings. Our guide meticulously explained the origins of the Chinese and Korean languages, as well as the origin of the Korean flag. Although it was a guided tour, it felt very welcoming and genuine, unlike the rushed visits to a typical museum. Many thanks to Michael and Sunny! It's no exaggeration to say they are the best guides I've ever met. Their attentive service made this trip feel more than just about visiting Aegibong and other tourist attractions; it was about the warmth and professionalism they provided. If I ever visit Korea again, I will definitely recommend their guided tours!
During my 6-day trip to Seoul, I visited Ms. Pig's Knuckle twice. The food was delicious, and I will definitely visit her again next time I travel to Seoul. The food is very tasty and worth remembering.
