This time, our unexpected trip of three became a mini-group, and we met a wonderfully attentive and helpful tour guide named Kristy! Upon meeting us, she gave us a whole bag of Korean snacks, saying we could try them if we got bored or hungry during the journey, and see what Koreans eat. During the trip, she also introduced some attractions in Busan and Daegu. Although we came too early this year and didn't see the full bloom of red maple leaves and golden ginkgo trees, strolling through the botanical garden in the cool weather was a truly pleasant vacation! We also had the opportunity to visit a traditional Hanok village, where the historical artifacts were not overly crowded, allowing us to appreciate their weight and beauty – absolutely perfect for photos! The experience of drinking makgeolli in Jiuquan Village was also great, but unfortunately, being by the river, it was a bit chilly sitting outdoors… otherwise, having lunch, a few drinks, and enjoying the scenery would have been a wonderful experience!
The Daegu City Tour Bus offers an excellent route and stops at popular attractions. With a little planning, we were able to make the best use of the tour bus and visited 6 attractions in one day. The bus was reliable and arrived at each stop as scheduled. The bus was clean and comfortable, not crowded at all. Bring your own earphone if you want to listen to the guided tour. Highly recommend this inexpensive bus tour!
I had so much fun on this tour and I also had a very friendly and informative host. The tour exceeded my expectations and it was good value for money. I would for sure recommend this tour to anyone looking to discover the history of Daegu and not to mention the amazing drawing experience as well.
