Fukuoka is a city we really like. We've visited it many times, so we've already been to famous attractions like Yanagawa, Dazaifu, Kushida Shrine, Canal City Hakata, and Nakasu Yatai. So this time, we chose a less-visited day trip to Itsujima. We were lucky to meet our driver, Mr. Li, a tall man from Henan who was gentle and considerate. He explained each attraction in detail and waited patiently, allowing us to leisurely tour, take photos, and get back on the bus to rest when we got tired. If we choose a day trip to Fukuoka again, we will definitely ask for Mr. Li again.

I was surprised at how smoothly everything went from boarding with my car to departure, and how quickly we left the ship. The ship was relaxing, and disembarking was quick upon arrival at Kumamoto Port. The reduced travel time from Unzen-Shimabara to Kumamoto was truly stress-free and I was very happy. I would definitely use this service again if I have the opportunity.

This was my first time visiting Huis Ten Bosch, and I was immediately struck by the beautiful tulips 🌷 as soon as I entered the grounds...they were truly stunning...and the grounds are so vast that you could easily get lost 😂

This was my first time hiring a car in Fukuoka. The itinerary for the day was to visit Mount Aso to see the beautiful scenery, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and it rained heavily. The driver was very considerate and explained to us that the fog on the mountain was very thick and we might not be able to see the scenery we wanted. After carefully asking whether we wanted to shop, enjoy the scenery, or just have a quick look around, he provided us with the best itinerary. Since we were traveling with elderly people, the driver was very accommodating and made us get off at several points, ensuring that the elderly people were safely taken back to their hotel. It was a wonderful experience!

Huis Ten Bosch has many delicious foods, fun activities, and beautiful sights; you'd need at least two days to see everything. However, it's still very hot at the end of August, and walking and queuing in the sun is quite challenging. It's especially crowded on weekends.

Transportation is convenient; the bus terminal at number 31 is easy to find. Just hand the printed ticket to the driver. Late August in Fukuoka is incredibly hot; the temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius all day, making sightseeing quite uncomfortable. Miffy Land, the fishing games, and the two VR shows are must-dos. Many classic rides were closed that day, including the carousel, zipline (which was temporarily suspended), and the flying zipline (which was also closed due to weather). Therefore, we watched the shows until 8 PM. It would have been more comfortable and fun if the weather hadn't been so hot. Personally, I think the light and fireworks shows only start after the last bus ticket at 8 PM; leaving the park at 6 or 8 PM makes no difference in whether you see them or not. Don't miss it if you like Miffy Land.
