The lucky trip started with a professional and thoughtful tour guide (Xiao Hong) and great weather. The guide had done his research on the local history and customs and gave fluent introductions in both Chinese and English. He took good care of every traveler, which left a deep impression. Although it was not a cherry blossom viewing tour, the first attraction was a beautiful cherry blossom in full bloom. We soaked in a warm foot bath under the sunset and then watched the dazzling fireworks at Lake Toya. We were full of praise and it was a trip that was definitely worth planning!
Our driver, Mr. Li, was very nice and provided excellent information. It was just a pity that due to the weather, some attractions and Mount Yotei didn't look as beautiful as the promotional photos.
Despite the bad weather, we were still able to appreciate the beauty of Hokkaido on this trip. The free foot bath at Jozankei warmed us on a chilly day; the clear waters of Lake Toya brought us a sense of tranquility; and while drinking sweet spring water at Meisui Park, we were surprised to be caught in a hailstorm. Our guide, Mr. Hu, provided excellent service; thank you for your assistance on this trip.
