Kiyomizu Temple

Following the tour guide, I learned a lot about the local area and different cultures. The tour guide was really good; he walked quite fast and even helped me take a photo and told me where to take it. Because there were fewer people on this tour, I didn't know that things might be different if there were more people.

Highly recommend this day trip! It covers Katsuo-ji, Arashiyama, and Kiyomizu-dera temples in one trip, saving you the hassle of long journeys. The time allotted is ample. For lunch, I suggest ordering a meal included with the tour – it's convenient and delicious. There's also a matcha experience; the matcha you make yourself is especially tasty. Our guide, Mr. Liu, was very kind and attentive, taking good care of everyone in the group. I would definitely join another KKday day trip next time. We'll be traveling on a medium-sized bus with one seat on the left and two on the right, and an aisle in the middle. The last row has four seats, and there's space for luggage behind the last row. The tour guide will help arrange seating so that fellow speakers of the same language can sit in adjacent areas. There are comprehensive guided tours upon boarding the bus and arriving at attractions, but if you want to explore freely once you arrive, that's also fine. The tour guide will send the meeting time and other relevant information to the group chat. The tour guide is also very helpful in taking photos and provides suggestions for restaurants, shops, and sightseeing routes.
