A fantastic itinerary: Karato Market, Moji Port Nostalgia Area, Kokura Castle, and Miyajidake Shrine. We boarded the bus early in the morning with a friendly and enthusiastic welcome from our tour guide, Seki-san. The bus was clean and tidy, and the driver drove smoothly and safely. After visiting Miyajidake Shrine and Kokura Castle, we went to the highlight of the trip – Fujiuchi Garden – to admire the wisteria and hydrangeas in full bloom. After a visual feast, we headed to Karato Market for fresh and delicious sashimi and nigiri sushi. Finally, we watched the Moji Port Suspension Bridge open. This day trip was truly fortunate; I experienced the best of times. Seki-san from gogoday provided a particularly detailed and seamless explanation in Japanese, Chinese, and English, making my first experience with this kind of day trip wonderful.
It would be difficult to complete this trip in one day by taking public transportation on your own. The downside is that in order to go up the mountain to see the night view, there is not enough time to stay at the attractions in front. It is difficult to have both for a short trip. Fortunately, the tour guide Ada and the driver are experienced and friendly.
