Several snacks were delicious, including cream puffs and dorayaki; the tour guide explained them in detail. 👍 You can soak in the hot spring for about 40 minutes. We also had the eel rice bowl recommended by the tour guide for lunch, which was very good; one serving is enough for two people. 😌
Fortunately, the weather was sunny throughout the trip, allowing for clear and unobstructed views of the beautiful scenery in the Takachiho Gorge. Unfortunately, time was limited; a boat trip through the gorge would have made it even more unique. Although Mount Aso was closed to the public that day and could only be viewed from afar by Kusanagi, its grandeur was still palpable. It was a pity our stay was too short; in the future, I'll travel independently to experience the deeper beauty of different places.
We didn't visit the Aso crater, but we did visit other scenic spots. Our guide, Xiaoyu, provided very thorough explanations, and we had ample time at each site. We had lunch in Kusasenri, which had beautiful scenery. We drove past Mount Yonezuka, and finally parted ways at Kurokawa Onsen. Almost half the group also left the bus there. It's helpful to inform the guide in advance, as they will arrange hotel pick-up and drop-off, etc., which is really convenient.
