Mr. Wei, our driver in Hokkaido, is incredibly warm and hospitable. He told us the best spots for taking photos and whether a particular attraction was suitable for us. He answered all our questions without hesitation, and he was especially considerate of our elderly family members. He helped us with anything we needed and recommended many delicious Hokkaido dishes. He also took us to some smaller attractions in our chartered car. It was a perfect experience!
We took the tour in heavy rain, but the driver (a town hall employee?) was incredibly kind, which was great. While everyone else went to the northernmost point, we were the only ones who went to the shrine. Because of the heavy rain, the driver thoughtfully picked us up before the scheduled time, drove us to a shop when we couldn't find it, and even drove us back to a souvenir shop when we forgot our phone and were panicking. Despite the heavy rain, we didn't get too wet, had a fun time, and the tuna was delicious. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.
It was easily accessible by car, and the staff were very polite and helpful; it was a very pleasant experience.
I could also feel the history in the exhibits.
Since we had a two-day trip, and we had already visited Goryokaku on the first day, we replaced the rest of our meals with cakes and puddings. It was fantastic! The electric tram experience was really great. I absolutely loved the feel of Hakodate; it blends old and new.
