Since moving to Hakodate City a year ago, I've finally been able to fulfill my long-held dream of "crossing the Tsugaru Strait and viewing Hakodate from the northernmost point of Honshu." The sea was cloudy in the morning, but it cleared up in the afternoon, and after enjoying a delicious tuna bowl at "Kamome Shokudo," I was able to see Mount Hakodate from Cape Oma! The staff on the sightseeing van were incredibly kind and helpful, and I regret not asking for their names. Thank you so much for your very polite and kind service. It was a wonderful memory.
Those with and without tickets line up in the same queue for a while. The lines then split.
Buying tickets in advance is recommended as it saves time.
Even if you buy them all together, the QR codes make them easy to distribute, which is great.
However, I had a bit of trouble because I had to handle the tickets for my children who don't have smartphones.
Mr. Wei, our driver in Hokkaido, is incredibly warm and hospitable. He told us the best spots for taking photos and whether a particular attraction was suitable for us. He answered all our questions without hesitation, and he was especially considerate of our elderly family members. He helped us with anything we needed and recommended many delicious Hokkaido dishes. He also took us to some smaller attractions in our chartered car. It was a perfect experience!
