Embark on an unforgettable guided hike through the majestic Samaria Gorge, the longest canyon in Europe. Begin your adventure at Xiloskalo, the gateway to this breathtaking natural wonder, where towering cliffs and lush greenery set the stage for an awe-inspiring trek.

Follow the ancient Taras River route, winding through rugged terrain, past dramatic rock formations, and into the heart of Crete’s White Mountains.

Along the way, marvel at the caves that once sheltered Cretans during wartime and now serve as a habitat for the island’s famous wild goats, the Kri-Kri.
Discover the abandoned village of Samaria, a place steeped in history, before reaching the Iron Gates, the narrowest and most striking section of the gorge.

After completing the hike, reunite with your tour guide in the coastal village of Agia Roumeli, where you can relax, enjoy a meal (at your own expense), and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea.

The journey continues with a scenic ferry ride to Sfakia, offering stunning coastal views along the way. From there, you'll return by bus to your original pickup points, marking the end of an incredible, rewarding day filled with breathtaking landscapes and the unforgettable beauty of nature.
