You will first be welcomed by Simona at the Papyrus Excursion info point, who also speaks English, French, and Spanish. Boarding is just a few meters away, and prepare to be welcomed on board by the professionalism and friendliness of Captain Roberto.
The tour will begin with the discovery of the monuments on the island of Ortigia as seen from the sea: Aretusa Fountain, Castello Maniace, Forte Vigliena, Lungomare Alfeo, and the Spanish walls.
The boat will then head towards the north-east coast of the city of Syracuse, where you can admire rocky cliffs with imaginative shapes: Napoleon's hat, rockfish, coral cave, stalactite cave, and the Cyclops' bermuda shorts. During the tour, the captain will stop the boat for a refreshing dip in the Ionian Sea.
You can't swim but still want to take a refreshing dip? Don't worry, the boat is equipped with life jackets for both adults and children, and a swim ring. The boat is also equipped with a convenient ladder for getting on and off safely.

This 90-minute tour is available every day with different departures to suit your schedule. Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time to check in at your leisure and familiarize yourself with the itinerary on the map.
