Rome: Colosseum and Fori Imperiali Art Experience｜Italy

Begin your experience at the Colosseum, where you’ll stand in the presence of scale, rhythm, and power. Learn to notice details most people rush past as you take in the site’s history, architecture, and cultural symbolism.

Engage in observational line studies focused on arches and monumental rhythm, light and emotion shadow mapping, and symbol and meaning decoding through short storytelling. Assemble Sketchbook Page 1 with line, mood, one symbol, and one reflection line.

Continue toward Fori Imperiali, where the atmosphere changes. The city opens into fragments, layers, and silence, inviting reflection on time, imagination, and everything that remains.

Enjoy a short introduction to the Fora as Rome’s civic heart and evolving public space. Translate texture and material observation into mark making, create a personal sketch focused on balance, imagination, and emotional calm, and write a short artist statement reflection.

Finish your experience with a supportive sharing circle. Complete Sketchbook Page 2 with final touches and take an optional group photo.
