Our adventure begins with a stop at a service center, where you'll have time to have breakfast and use the restrooms before heading into the mountains. We will then visit the Chacabuco Monument, a historical site that commemorates one of the most important battles in Chile's independence.
We'll continue the tour until we reach Salto del Soldado, an impressive natural formation full of legends and perfect for taking spectacular photos. Afterwards, we'll head towards the border between Chile and Argentina, where you can appreciate the beauty of the mountain range and the significance of this international crossing.
The highlight of the day will be Inca Lagoon, a lake with crystal-clear waters that reflects the surrounding peaks, creating an unforgettable picture-postcard scene. Located within the Portillo Ski Center, this lagoon is famous for its beauty and the stories that give it a mystical air. During the winter season, from June to August, the place is transformed into a snowy paradise that attracts visitors from all over the world.
At the Portillo Ski Center, one of the oldest and most prestigious in South America, you can appreciate the unique atmosphere of the mountain, whether covered in snow in the winter season or surrounded by vibrant landscapes in the warmer seasons.
Before returning to Santiago, we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch (not included), where you can relax and enjoy Chilean cuisine in a mountain setting.
