Product Info

The tour starts at the Lindenhof, where you will get your first glimpse of Zurich's Old Town, the Limmat, and the lake. Your guide is Swiss, has studied history and worked in Zurich, and is herself enthusiastic about this wonderful city.

On the way through the old town, you will learn interesting facts about the history and exciting things about the people who have lived in Zurich and continue to shape it to this day. First and foremost is the reformer Zwingli, who preached in Grossmünster and decisively initiated and spread the reforms of the church.

In the Wasserkirche in front of the Märtyrerstein, some people probably get a chill down their spine when they imagine that the Zurich city patron saints Felix and Regula were beheaded here.

The Storchen-Bar, Odeon-Bar and Kronenhalle are ancient Zurich establishments and unique places for meeting and culture. Many of the guests made history themselves. But in typical Swiss fashion, discretion is maintained. Nevertheless, a few anecdotes have made it out, which you will hear on the tour.
The final stop is the Bodega Bar in Niederdorf, another place for meeting and culture.

You will gain an insight into the spirit of this wonderful city, shaped by the Reformation, and follow in the footsteps of the powerful: Charlemagne, the reformer Zwingli, and Fraumünster Abbess Katharina von Zimmern. You will experience the spirit of bygone times, which is still present today.

The standard option lasts about 90 minutes, with a maximum of 12 people.

The premium option lasts around 2.5 hours and also offers a visit to the Fraumünster Church with the Chagall windows and a visit to the Storchen Bar or Odeon Bar, maximum 6 people.
