Day 1 – Entrance to the Park / Gerais do Rio Preto / Mirante do Pati / Funis Waterfall / Pati House
Start: 7:30–8:00 | End: ~17:00
Included: snack + dinner (local residents)

Departure from Lençóis to Beco do Guiné, the official entrance to Chapada Diamantina National Park. Hike across the Serra do Sincorá and the Gerais do Rio Preto, with a stop for a swim and snack. Continue to the Mirante do Pati for panoramic views before entering the valley. Visit Funis waterfall, with optional stops at Lajeado and Bananeiras. Arrival at a traditional residents’ house for check-in, shower, and dinner.
Walking distance: 16 km | Vehicle: 91 km (36 km dirt road)

Day 2 – Castelo Mountain / Panoramic View / Pati House
Start: 8:00–8:30 | End: ~16:00
Included: breakfast + snack + dinner

After breakfast, ascent to Castelo Mountain (approx. 2 hours). From the plateau, enjoy one of the most impressive views of the Pati Valley, with mountains, waterfalls, and unique rock formations. Snack at the top. Return to the residents’ house, with possible stops for bathing in natural pools. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Cachoeirão Viewpoint Hike (Upper Route) / Vale do Capão
Start: 7:30–8:00
Included: breakfast + snack

Hike to the Cachoeirão Viewpoint (Upper Route), where in rainy periods over 20 waterfalls can be seen cascading from 280 m cliffs. After the viewpoint, continue across Gerais do Rio Preto and exit the valley via Beco or Aleixo. Transfer by vehicle to Vale do Capão and check-in at local and rustic lodging we will provide for you.

Difficulty: Intermediate | Challenges: long distance, uneven trails, sun exposure.

Day 4 – Fumaça Waterfall / Riachinho / Lençóis
Start: 8:30–9:30 | End: ~18:00
Included: snack kit

Checkout and short transfer to the access point for the Fumaça waterfall trail. Fumaça is the highest waterfall in Chapada Diamantina. Hike 12 km (2 km ascent, 4 km flat) to the top of the canyon for views of the Fumaça waterfall and the surrounding valley. Meal at the top. Return on the same trail and continue by vehicle to Riachinho waterfall for a refreshing swim. Transfer back to Lençóis and drop-off at your lodging.

Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced | Challenges: steep sections, sun exposure, heights.
