Product Info

Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, Soma Bay, Makadi, Sahl Hasheh, or El Gouna. Travel to Cairo in an air-conditioned big bus, arriving at around 8:00 AM.

Start your tour with a visit to the Citadel of Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi (Saladin), one of the most iconic monuments in Islamic Cairo. Learn about its history as a formidable defensive fortress dating back to the Middle Ages.

Explore the citadel’s strategic location on the Muqattam Hills, which offers a panoramic view of Cairo. Discover the many monuments added to the citadel over the centuries, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, the mosque of the Mamluk sultan al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun, and the Ottoman-era Sulayman Pasha al-Khadim Mosque.

Next, head to the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx. Your guide will provide clear, easy-to-follow explanations, making ancient Egyptian history accessible and enjoyable for first-time guests. There is plenty of time for photos and questions.

Meet your Egyptologist tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum, home to over 100,000 artifacts, or the old Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square. Choose which museum you are interested in during the booking process.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo before beginning the return journey by bus to Hurghada, arriving back at your hotel late in the evening.
