Product Info

Depart from Belgrade and journey into the heart of the Braničevo region in eastern Serbia. Visit two significant Serbian Orthodox monasteries and learn about their history and traditions.

Make your first stop at Tumane Monastery, located in the valley of the Tumanska River, not far from the town of Golubac. Discover one of the most visited pilgrimage sites of the Serbian Orthodox Church, known for its healing tradition and often called "the Ostrog of Đerdap."

Venerate the relics of Saint Zosimus of Tumane and Saint Jacob, visit the monastery church dedicated to the Archangel Gabriel, learn about the monastery's history, and, if time allows, attend a short prayer or speak with the monastic brotherhood.

After Tumane, continue to Nimnik Monastery, located in an oak forest near the village of Kurjače, in the municipality of Kučevo. Nimnik, also known as the Marian Monastery, is dedicated to the Transfer of the Relics of Saint Nicholas of Myra, with a rich history dating back to the 14th century.

This tour is intended for pilgrims, believers, and anyone wishing to discover the spiritual and cultural heritage of eastern Serbia, at a relaxed pace with plenty of time for prayer and reflection at each site.
