Your journey begins at the Walvis Bay Lagoon, a RAMSAR wetland famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and abundant birdlife. We then continue past the striking Pink Salt Lakes before entering the Namib Naukluft National Park and heading towards the giant dunes that make this region world-famous.

As we venture deeper into the desert, keep an eye out for some of the remarkable animals that have adapted to survive in this harsh desert environment, including Oryx, Springbok, Black-backed Jackals, Ostriches, Cape Fur Seals, and even the fascinating Palmato Gecko.

The highlight of the day is Sandwich Harbour itself, one of the few places on Earth where giant sand dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean. Here you'll have plenty of time to explore, take photographs, climb the dunes, and enjoy the incredible views stretching across desert, ocean, and coastline.
