We kick off the night the way every great Korean evening begins: with a classic K-BBQ feast. As we grill together, your local host will give you a few more details about what to expect. You’ll learn how this area transformed from a student hub into the epicenter of Korea’s underground sound. It’s the perfect time to break the ice, swap travel stories, and get to know your fellow music lovers.

Once we’ve fueled up, we’ll head to one of the neighborhood’s iconic live music venues. Forget the polished K-pop you see on TV—this is where you’ll find the real deal. From gritty rock and soulful indie to experimental jazz, you’ll experience the high-energy performances that give Hongdae its legendary reputation.

- We will head to a live music venue and enjoy the performance together. We normally choose a venue with free entry. If the free venue is full or unavailable, we will move to another nearby venue instead. In that case, an entrance fee may apply, ranging from free entry up to approximately 35,000 KRW depending on the venue.
