  • <Walking time & Clothing/Shoes/Luggage> The round trip from the parking lot to Sumatakyo is about 90 minutes, and the walk from the Okuoi Kojo Station observatory to the station is about 40 minutes. There are unpaved paths and some places where tree roots are exposed. In particular, there are about 300 stone steps to climb on the way to Sumatakyo. Therefore, please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. We also recommend a backpack that leaves both hands free for walking. *You can leave luggage not needed for walking on the bus or at the hotel.

  • [Okuoi] Access from the Okuoi Observatory to Okuoi Kojo Station is by foot only (buses and cars cannot pass). It is possible to travel with the bus that goes to Senzu Station, but in that case, you will not be able to ride the Oigawa Railway.

  • [Sumatakyo] You cannot make a U-turn once you have crossed the Dream Suspension Bridge in Sumatakyo. After crossing, there is a steep uphill slope and 304 steps. It is also possible to leave the tour once at the junction before the suspension bridge and view the Dream Suspension Bridge and the emerald green river scenery from Hiryu Bridge.

  • [Oigawa Railway South Alps Apt Line] All seats are non-reserved seating. You may be required to share a seat, or depending on how crowded it is, you may have to stand.
