Day 1 – Arrival in Shiyan

Pick-up Information:
Free airport pick-up at Shiyan Wudangshan Airport (WDS).
Our staff will meet guests at 2:00 PM or 11:00 PM, depending on flight schedules. Look for the welcome sign near the arrival exit. Our team will assist with luggage and provide transfer to the hotel. Guests arriving around the same time may share a comfortable transfer with a brief waiting period.

Welcome to Shiyan!
Known as “Auto City”, Shiyan lies at the foot of the sacred Wudang Mountains. It combines modern vitality with spiritual serenity—home to the Han River and Danjiangkou Reservoir, surrounded by misty peaks and Taoist legends. This tranquil gateway introduces the beauty and cultural depth of Hubei Province.

Not included. Explore Shiyan’s food scene—from local noodle stalls to fine restaurants serving Hubei specialties. Recommended dishes: hot dry noodles and freshwater fish.

Day 2 – Explore the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area

Today, immerse yourself in the sacred landscape and spiritual heritage of Wudang Mountain, known as “The First Immortal Mountain Under Heaven.” Ride the cable car to the Golden Summit, admire ancient temples amid clouds, and experience the serenity of Taoist culture.

Wudang Mountain Scenic Area:
Cable Car to Golden Summit Taihe Palace (2 hrs)
-- Taizipo (Prince’s Slope) (1 hr)
-- Purple Cloud Palace or Nanyan Palace (2 hrs)

Note:
Zixiao (Purple Cloud) Palace will undergo partial renovation until September 30, 2025. During this period, the visit will be replaced by Nanyan Palace.

Day 3 – Taoist Heritage & Tai Chi Experience

Today blends Taoist spirituality, martial arts, and natural beauty. In the morning, visit the legendary temples of Zhang Sanfeng, founder of Wudang martial arts, and practice Tai Chi under a master’s guidance. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic cruise on Taiji Lake before returning home.

Taiji Lake Cruise (1.5 hrs)

Yuxu Palace Scenic Area (1 hr)
