Most days in the mountains you look. Today you go in. We kick off on the world's most scenic drive, the Icefields Parkway, winding past more than 100 ancient glaciers, waterfalls cascading from dramatic rock spires, and turquoise lakes too blue to be real, with wildlife around every bend.

Along the way you'll stop at the must-see landmarks and a few spots only locals know. This is a small group tour, so your expert local guide has time to share the stories and insights a big bus never will, and you'll hit the trails for short, mellow hikes to the best viewpoints at your own pace, never rushed by a bus schedule. On-road guiding mixed with room to explore each stop solo, so every one lands the way it should.

Then the dare gets bigger. You rumble onto the 10,000-year-old Athabasca Glacier aboard a massive all-terrain Ice Explorer, step out onto ancient ice, and sip water that has been frozen since before written history. After that comes the glass-floored Columbia Icefield Skywalk, suspended high above the Sunwapta Valley, where you walk right out and look straight down at the untouched wilderness below.
