From Alexandria Port: Pillar, Catacombs, Citadel & Library!｜Egypt

From the moment you set foot in Alexandria Port, our agents will welcome you with our Meet and Greet service, holding a sign with your name and whisking you away on a journey through the Mediterranean capital's golden time.

Your first stop is Pompey's Pillar, a towering monument erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century. Once part of the Serapis Temple, it is curved from a single piece of granite and stands as a testament to the grandeur of ancient architecture.

Next, we'll drive you to the Catacombs, the most significant Roman Cemetery. Carved into three levels in the rock, this labyrinth offers a unique glimpse into the past.

After exploring these ancient wonders, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Alexandria's local restaurants. Followed by a visit to the Qaitbay Citadel, a majestic fortress built on the site of the ancient Pharos (Lighthouse) of Alexandria.

Your tour concludes with a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a beacon of knowledge and a tribute to the scholarly brilliance of the ancient world.

Note: The Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays, so you can visit the Roman Theater instead.

As the evening descends, your guide will accompany you back to your cruise ship at Alexandria Port.
