• The time when the little penguins return to their nests varies depending on the season; therefore, the departure and return times for this tour will be adjusted accordingly. Please take note.
During Daylight Saving Time (October to March of the following year), penguins return to their nests between 19:00 and 19:50.
[During winter time] From April to September, penguins return to their nests between 17:30 and 18:00.
• Depending on the specific ticket availability for the Puffing Billy Railway, the departure and arrival stations and boarding times may be subject to change. Please refer to the driver/guide's arrangements on the day of your journey.
• The itinerary order and times are for reference only and may be adjusted according to factors such as visitor limits at scenic spots on the day. The specific arrangements will be based on the driver and guide's schedule on the day.
• Due to the need to protect wildlife, the closing hours at Cape Nobbs may be adjusted periodically; therefore, visits to Cape Nobbs are not guaranteed.
**If the steam train scenic area unilaterally cancels the trip due to force majeure (including but not limited to high temperatures, government or scenic area safety regulations), we will assist in handling relevant refund and change arrangements according to the actual situation:**
(1) Cancellations and changes can be processed normally 72 hours or more before departure;
(2) For cancellation or change requests made 24-72 hours before departure, the cost of the Penguin Island single ticket already incurred will be deducted or made up.
(3) If the trip resources have been actually used within 0-24 hours before departure, the fee will not be refunded. Alternatively, you may choose to change to the "Rainbow Hut + Penguin Island" trip. The price difference resulting from the change of trip will be refunded.
Due to strict time restrictions on viewing penguins returning to their nests at Penguin Island, in order to ensure a smooth viewing experience, if the train delays cause the subsequent optional attraction (Maru Zoo) to be unable to guarantee the normal tour duration, the driver/guide will inform the guests on-site to adjust the itinerary and automatically postpone the next attraction.
Reminders
A minimum of 6 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 2 day(s) before the departure date
Travelers with the following conditions or other health issues that could be worsened by excessive stimulation should not participate in this activity: Pregnant women
Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
Children under 15 years of age are not allowed to travel alone; they must be accompanied by at least one adult traveler aged 22 or older throughout the trip.
Passengers aged 70 and above must confirm that they are in good health to travel and provide a health certificate (electronic version is acceptable) before departure. They must be accompanied by a family member or friend aged 22 or above throughout the trip.
Since some vehicle models do not have a luggage compartment, if you bring luggage that you have not informed us of in advance and there is not enough room on the vehicle, the driver/guide has the right to refuse to let you bring your luggage on the vehicle. You can store your luggage near the meeting point and then join the tour.
