First up is a coastal tour of Cotubanama National Park. You'll then stop at a natural pool for a dip before heading to an enticing beach for lunch and free time. Once you've made your way by private coach and fast boat to Saona, the sightseeing can begin in earnest. See the rocks of El Peñón, explore mangroves and glide through the Catuano channel to a fish and bird sanctuary. Ramon adds, ‘The park is named after Taino chief Cotubanama, who resisted Spanish conquest and fled to Saona. It's very symbolic of our history.'
