Please note, if you're a single‑parent family or travelling with children without both parents, you'll need extra documentation when entering the north of Cyprus. This includes a ‘letter of authorisation' from the absent parent, plus supporting documents such as the child's birth certificate, a passport copy of the absent parent, or a court order. You can find templates for these letters online, but we recommend checking with a lawyer before you travel to make sure everything is in order
