If your holiday could do with a bit of the X factor, then this extreme adventure is just the ticket. You'll power your way into the jungle in a UTV for an exhilarating off-road trail, be able to try out the Maya climber, speed down a waterslide and then zoom over the treetops on Mexico's longest and fastest zipline.

There are seven double-safety ziplines, including the mother of all Mexico's ziplines – the 1,200m-long Superman, which will have you flying along at speeds of up to 100km/h. Yes, almost as fast as the motorway speed limit. This ain't called the extreme adventure for nothing.

But it's not all about ziplining. Take part in a skydiving simulation, go on jungle hikes or try climbing. And then there's the exhilarating off-road UTV jaunt into on a specially designed course. It's a barnstormer. Drop down steep slopes, cross rocky river beds and climb up hills. To top it all off, make a splash on the waterslide.

  • Bring a light jumper and change of clothes, comfortable shoes, biodegradable sunblock and towel

  • Minimum age is 8 years

  • Minimum height is 120cm and maximum weight is 118kg

  • UTV driver must be 18 or older and present a valid driver's licence - permits not allowed

  • Cameras not allowed for own safety

  • A USD 50.00 charge per vehicle for collision/damage insurance will be charged at check-in

  • Transport not included. Due to local transportation laws, you must take a taxi to the meeting point to start your excursion. The cost varies from hotel to hotel but is around USD 15.00 each way

  • Excursion meeting points and time will need to be confirmed with your TUI or Destination Services Rep in resort (or by phone)

  • If your hotel is based in Downtown Puerto Vallarta, and you use the API Marina to access your excursion, an additional tax of MXN 32.00 (approximately) pesos per person will be required. This is a federal tax
