The self-guided audio tour is designed to start at the entrance of the Park and Palace of Monserrate (Parques de Sintra – Monte da Lua, 2710-405 Sintra, Portugal). The easiest way to get there is by taking the hop-on bus 435, called the Villa Express, which stops directly at the entrance (Parques de Sintra – Monte da Lua, 2710-405 Sintra, Portugal). The tour ends at the same location, the entrance/exit of Monserrate, which is the same entrance from which you started. Know in advance:The Park and Palace of Monserrate are partly wheelchair accessible: in the Park there is a ramped route from the entranceway as far as the Palace with particular attention needed for steeply sloping sections. In the Palace, there is no access to either the second floor or the kitchen for persons with mobility restrictions. The Palace interior features a 3-D scale model of the Palace that visitors may touch and discover more about the building's layout
