Explore the heart of the Alsace Wine Route on this small-group day trip from Strasbourg, travelling in a comfortable minivan with up to seven guests and an English-speaking guide.

The day begins in Colmar, nicknamed "Little Venice" for its romantic canals and colourful half-timbered houses. A guided walk reveals the city's iconic landmarks, including the Saint-Martin Collegiate Church and flower-lined bridges, as well as its hidden corners. Free time follows to stroll, take photos, or enjoy a traditional Alsatian lunch at your own expense.

Next, the tour continues to Kaysersberg, one of France's most beautiful villages. Nestled between vineyards and forest beneath the ruins of a medieval castle, its cobbled streets and the gentle murmur of the Weiss River make for a truly timeless setting. A wine tasting at a local estate offers a chance to discover the great Alsatian grape varieties, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, and learn what makes this region's wines so distinctive.

The final stop is Riquewihr, a perfectly preserved 16th-century village often compared to an open-air museum, with colourful facades, narrow streets, and historic towers that feel straight out of a film set.
