- Hiking in La Gomera gives a glimpse of how the Canaries would have looked centuries before civilization. You'll start in El Cercado – a tiny mountain town famed for its pottery making and typical stone houses. Then, you'll hike through the island's ancient laurel forests in the heart of Garajonay National Park, stopping for an optional picnic along the way.
