New Hofburg Palace is the newest addition to the historic Hofburg complex in Vienna. Admire the exhibitions located in Habsburg former residence and hear more about the dynasty’s founding fathers up to Empress Sisi.

Explore two of the collections that are housed here, the Imperial Armoury and the Collection of Historic Musical Instruments. Learn about one of Europe's most powerful dynasties, starting in the late Middle Ages to the modern era. Discover suits of armour, a fortepiano that was once played by Mozart, and see the only wax bust to show Joseph Haydn as he was in life.

The tour passes through those halls and rooms which were originally intended for Sisi; sadly, the Empress, who was murdered in 1898, never took up residence in these rooms.
