Northern lights luxury yacht cruise in Reykjavik

This tour combines a hunt for the northern lights with a cruise along the beautiful coastline of Reykjavik. You will be able to enjoy the clean ocean breeze and gaze at the starry night sky as you wait for the aurora, all while observing the city from a different perspective.

Throughout the cruise you will have the chance to see some interesting sights such as the art sculpture Sun Voyager, a dream boat and an ode to the sun. You will also see the famous house Höfði where the agreement to end the Cold War was signed in 1986. On the way, you will pass some small islands in Faxa bay such as Viðey where the "Imagine Peace Tower" by Yoko Ono lights up the night sky from the 9th of October until the 8th of December.

The experienced crew will keep an eye out for the Aurora Borealis activity in order to find the best route towards the lights. When particles from the sun hit earth’s atmosphere it creates a bright light with colors fluctuating in hues of green, red and at times purple, a truly magical sight.
